LAKE CHARLES, La. (Sept. 26, 2005)--Coast Guard Disaster Area Response Team sent a crew seven along with two of their 15 response boats into devastated Cameron Parish, La. today to search for anyone in need of assistance after Hurricane RIta ravaged the area. D.A.R.T. has been deployed in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina destroyed the Gulf Coast and is now resonding with local, state, and federal agencies in the Lake Charles, La. area to the areas hardest hit by the hurricane.
