My name is Zina Bennett, my son and I have been living in Huntsville, Al for the past 31/2 years. My son was and I was befriended by this teacher named Micheal Horton and I came to trust him. I worked closely with him in his business I even helped in put his wedding together. I lost my apartment back in june of 2008.And while i was waiting for housing to call me back, i asked him if my son could stay with him for a while. He came to me and asked me for custody of Stephen to protect him and his wife because any child living with a teacher is suppose to have custody. And since i trusted him I signed the papers. And within four months he had litertly turned my son against the entire family, so when we would go to court my son would say he wanted to stay with him. i never thought i would be in a postion like this. I know if i had been at home this would have never happened. Because I had the family support i needed at home. Right now I\'m in a custody battle with the teacher and maybe my sons\' father I know it want be fair for me to loose my child after going through Katrina cause and want be able to stand it.
