My family stayed for the Hurricane. We lived on the Northshore at the time, so evacuation was not mandatory. Watching and waiting became the two things that I had to do. My family and I were not harmed, although we had four trees on our house. We were lucky to escape getting flooded. I felt blessed when it was all over. However, I knew it was worse in other places such as New Orleans.
