Online Image Contribution, Hurricane Digital Memory Bank

At Bent Tree Village apartment complex, Port Arthur, more than half of the buildings sustained damage and were unihabitable. This is a line of "dead fridges" removed from apartments after nearly 3 weeks without power. Between the garbage piling up and the rotting food, the stench was overwhelming. Taken on 10/10/05
