Do You Know What it Means

Carolyn Lindsey, 5th grade, 1968-69.

The Lindsey family were long-time residents of the Fazendeville community. Prior to Hurricane Katrina, the Lindseys lived in Meraux in St. Bernard Parish. Their house was destroyed by the flooding following Katrina. They now live in Baton Rouge, LA. These photographs were collected in November 2006 during an interview with the Lindsey family at their new home in Baton Rouge.
