Looking at the news & the weather map - you would think Baton Rouge is being slammed right now. Not so.

A quick look out my window finds a bright sky (brightest I've seen it all day - even though it will start to get dark soon). No rain at the moment.

It has been raining the better part of the day (in sheets) since around 11:30 a.m. though. It will only get worse, I'm sure. I plan on staying in my apartment until after the storm passes.
