My nephew, Justin, and his wife Andre' -- this was our last big blow out before Hurricane Katrina. I don't remember a time when our entire family, both sides, were together other than this. I think the bond we developed at Justin's wedding got us through Hurricane Katrina. Justin made it as a first responder with the St. Bernard Sheriff's office, who had to stay. We were all worried to tears he wouldn't make it. His memories are 100% worse than our's of the storm, but luckily I had his wedding photos stored at Webshots. So, all was not lost, except their short lived innocense of this day.
