Do You Know What it Means

Leo Schaeffer has been a resident of St. Bernard for 29 years, and is the Store Director of the Winn Dixie Paris Road. He has been employed by Winn Dixie for 15 years, starting as a bagger at this location while attending Andrew Jackson High School in Chalmette. He worked his way up to Assistant Manager at this location and left to take numerous positions throughout the company, including District Supervisor. He returned home to reopen this location.

Winn Dixie is the only supermarket chain in St. Bernard, and this location was the last supermarket to close before the storm (August 28, 2005) and the first to reopen (October 12, 2006).
