Charcoal portrait of Common Ground volunteer. Complete text: "There is no 'they' here on the ground. That isn't a prescence here like I expected. Residents, workers, volunteers. Three overlapping rings of rebuilding, feeling edges of our humanity, courage and persistence in the same places, over the same plates of food."
