Filmmaker Helen Hill took this photo of her friend Rene Broussard's living room on March 2, 2006. The levees had broken 6 months earlier and Helen accompanied Rene and his family as they saw their flooded house for the first time. The house was located at 1342 Mandolin St. in the Lakeview neighborhood.
