This is the Administration of Justice building at the University of Southern Mississippi…

A beige brick building labeled "Elizabeth Hall" with arched ground-floor openings and decorative brown vertical louvers, set on a cleared, debris-strewn lot under a clear blue sky.

This is the Administration of Justice building at the University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Coast campus 27 months post-Katrina. The 25 foot high wave that came ashore when Katrina made landfall rendered the first floor of all the buildings on campus useless and many of the buildings there have not yet been repaired. Some will have to be demolished.
