The school change game

The State Superintendent of Education and the Recovery School District have contracted with architectural and construction firms Concordia and Parson Corp. to draft the master plan to build and renovate New Orleans public schools. This announcement sounds the bell for the intense political fight over where new schools are built, which ones are demolished, and the always controversial naming of schools.
