Back on Franklin Ave., between Lavender and Clover streets, we were surrounded by…

Nighttime street view from inside a vehicle, headlights illuminating a two-lane road lined with dark trees and houses, with an oncoming car's bright headlights visible in the distance.

121 Days of Darkness - Gentilly after Sunset - 12.27.05

Back on Franklin Ave., between Lavender and Clover streets, we were surrounded by darkness. We're looking south toward the I-10 ramp five blocks away. Houses, in complete darkness, are on both sides of this photo. The light in the background is from an approaching vehicle also with its high beam headlights turned on.
