Noticeable work has begun to repair my parents' home, four and one-half years after Hurricane Katrina. Exterior bricks have been removed so that the wall can be knocked out and extended outward in order to increase living space. The bricks will be re-used on the new exterior wall of the home. Photo was taken February 2010. Metairie, LA.
