Until Katrina my wife and I always celebrated our wedding anniversies in New Orleans at the same hotel in the French Quarter.\r\nWe are not certain but we believe we were there during what must have been a small hurricane named Allison. We rode it out and still enjoyed all the activites in and aroundd the quarter.\r\nWe are resuming our visits in June for our 62nd anniversary and look forward to many more in New Orleans It appears the people in N.O. have the spirit and fortitude to re-build this great area.\r\n\r\n
