I decided to stay because me,my brother,my dad, and my mom have never left for a hurricane and we weren\'t going to start now. We didn\'t think it would actually be this bad because it never is. Well, we were wrong and got stuck for two days in a days in with no food or water to live off of. People in the days in were getting really aggrevated with each other because we could hear people fighting through the walls. A woman was actually getting beat because she was feening for some type of muscle relaxer. My family couldn\'t take it anymore so the next morning when the water drained down to a certain point, me, my dad, my brother and mother packed up as much as we could, walked through hip high deep nasty water, pushed our car to dry land which was about a quarter of a mile away, and tried to start up the car. Luckily, the car started up and we ended up in laffeyette where the rest of our family ended up.
