Post Katrina I am doing ok at best. I lived in a hotel for two months right after Katrina hit. Then I moved to a trailer park set up by my dad\'s work, Chevron Chemicals in Belle Chasse. My family and I lived there for about two months. Shortly after my mom and dad bought a house in Belle Chasse and that is where my family is now.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n I on the other hand, had asked my dad for the old house, in St. Bernard that got flooded with eighteen feet of water. Luckily my house is thirteen feet off the ground, so that comes to five feet of damage in the house. He gave the house to me with my word that I was going to fix it up. It is hard trying to fix a damaged house especially when my post Katrina job of supervision of in all kinds of construction workers in St. Bernard Parish keeps me working thirty five to forty five hours a week with a fifteen hour school week. Never the less I am proud of my self for the time, work, and money put into it by me and my girlfriend. We should be able to move in three to four months from now. It is hard but I still get about seven hours of sleep. Something I learned from my post Katrina state is college comes first. \r\n
