My name is Joanna I went to Gulfport Ms three days after the storm and the people and experiences I went through have changed my life and how I live life forever. The people with their pride. I haved lived in Florida for the past twenty-three years but nothing never prepared me for what I saw and lived throught after the storm. I still have nightmares and worry about the people that have tried to get on with their lifes after the storm. I know that some will never be the same as for myself. I saw families that were so strong torn apart. I just wished more stories would or could be written about the storm but it seems to me so much was hidden from the public. Who knows maybe someday the truth will come out and some of pics can be published. Like I said at the beginning there are so many lifes that are never going to be put back together.
