Mary Alice Main Roy at her 80th birthday party held sometimes in April 1953. She was the wife of William F. Roy, who became the editor of the St. Bernard Voice newspaper in 1890 and was a state representative from 1908 to 1920. They are Gayle\'s great grandparents. The party was held at the home of one of her daughters Marion Roy on Friscoville Street in Arabi.\r\n\r\n\r\nGayle Buckley: lives in Pecan Grove Plantation.
