For the Hurricane I had to evacuate to Tennesse, but the road there was tough.First my dad had to drive me and my sister over to Laffayette. There we stayed with my Aunt and Uncle. My mom who lived in New Orleans, next to the Blue Plate MayonaiseFactory, drove to Laffayette to pick me and my sister up.When we got to the hotel she was at,it was crawling with evacuees. That would be the last time I would see my\r\ndad and my two dogs[Blaze and Sabrina] for two months. We started driving up to Alabama until we noticed that we needed a hotel room.My stepdad started calling hotels to get a room.No Luck.So we tried sleeping in the car at a reststop.I couldnt sleep,\r\nfrom my baby brother crying and how hot it was.It was a living hell.We kept driving, and we got a hotel room.\r\nA day later we got to my grandparents house in Crossville,TN.I had to go to school there for two months. My dad called about twice a week.He would tell us stuff like how we got kicked out of our apartment and that I had to share a room with my sister in our new apartment. My stepdad went down to New Orleans to get stuff when he found out that our house might be bulldozed. Now im in \r\nMetairie,living in Harrahan, and going to my same school. My mom lives in Texas and I only see her\r\nfor a few days about every two months.that is my story.
