Dear Lord in Heaven\r\nBe with all the victims of the hurricane\r\nTheir lives have been destroyed\r\nAnd they are in so much pain\r\nThey don\'t have\r\nA place to call home\r\nThey have been separated from their loved ones\r\nAnd feel so alone\r\n\r\nThe victims have no where\r\nTo lay their head\r\nThey are hungry, they are thirsty -\r\nLord I pray let them be fed\r\n\r\nEverything that they owned\r\nIs gone\r\nOh the images of the children and the elderly and all the victims\r\nChill me to the bone\r\n\r\nDear God in Heaven\r\nAll these people need your help so bad\r\nTheir lives have been destroyed -\r\nIt is so sad\r\n\r\nAfter all they have been through\r\nLord I pray they will turn to you\r\nBesides the storm, violence surrounds the streets on which they walk -\r\nAnd residue\r\n\r\nDear God in Heaven\r\nPeople are shooting guns\r\nAnd robbing your children\r\nThey have no place to hide\r\n\r\nDear God those horrible monsters\r\nThat are causing so much violence\r\nAre molesting little children -\r\nDon\'t let this situation be kept in silence\r\n\r\nDear Lord I pray\r\nHelp these people today\r\nGive them food and shelter\r\nAnd a place to stay\r\n\r\nDear Lord be with the sick\r\nAnd weary\r\nHeal their bodies and spirits\r\nSo their life won\'t be so dreary\r\n
