Lives were destroyed\r\nHouses were demolished\r\nWill there ever be hope?\r\nWill New Orleans ever be again?\r\n\r\nChildren were terrified\r\nMany people are upset\r\nPeople, children, and pets are homeless\r\nWill this crisis come to an end?\r\n\r\nDeceased people laying everywhere\r\nIn the debris from Hurricane Katrina\r\nShocking news that no one can believe\r\nWhy has this happened to these people?\r\n\r\nPeople acting foolishly\r\nBut rescuing people as well\r\nBut is this gonna help,\r\nOr are more going to die?\r\n\r\nPeople were cold-cocked by Katrina\r\nLeft moneyless, homeless, and hopeless\r\nThe people are depressed and very emotional\r\nThinking, Why did this happen to me?\r\n
