Hellicane: Poets Respond to Hurricane Katrina

The day has come to cry we said the end has come a city dead. In\r\nthere homes and in the streets. People stealing food to eat. They pray\r\nwill they come please come and help us and our loved ones. The\r\ngovernment makes promises but still they wait. For some the help came to late,\r\nbut this place is strong with pride they will rebuild they will\r\nsurvive.
