Filmmaker Helen Hill took this photograph of a favorite family picture salvaged from the moldy ruins of Mrs. Rose Broussard\'s home in New Orleans. The photo is of her son Rene. Helen Hill assisted the Broussard family during their first visit to their flooded home. They had evacuated to Shreveport and did not examine the property until March 2, 2006. Helen Hill, whose own home was badly flooded, documented the damage at the Lakeview home and took photographs of the few family pictures that could be salvaged.
