February 20, 2006 \r\n\r\nThe late, great Carter G. Woodson started Black History Week in 1926 with hopes that mainstream America would recognize the contributions of its Black residents. While millions of students across the country celebrate what has evolved into Black History Month, how close are we to Woodson\'s ultimate goal of integrating Black History into our core curriculums?\r\n
