Take a look at this photo and think about it. We\'re at the Bonnabel boat launch and Lake Pontchartrain is to my back. The line of trash is the waterline that was held back by the levee. There wasn\'t much more protection left. With winds as high as they were, a lot of water was blown over the levee.
