Back near Prentiss Ave., you can learn a lot from this photo. Flood waters rose more than ten feet in this area. Rescue workers that scanned this home for survivors placed their marking on the roof top as they floated by in their boat. At the time the searchers added their marks on the roof, they would not have seen the automobile in front of me. This was not a place to be when the water was rising.
