While we were evacuated in Baton Rouge, after the hurricane hit, we were unable to obtain any information about the condition of our neighborhood, specifically, as a result of hurricane Katrina. After hearing about all of the destruction, my father and I were able to find aerial views of our area. Using landmarks, we were able to pinpoint our neighborhood and get an idea of what it was like right after the storm hit. This was the only information we had reguarding our property for months. This picture is an aerial view of my neighborhood, incuding the high school I was attending at the time.
