New Orleans is Home

I will never forget Hurricane Katrina as long as I live. I'm sure no one from here will have that problem either. I've seen many things come from this devastating event. I've seen it bring out the worst in many people and the best in others. Katrina made a huge impact on our way of life. Many tears have been shed but we're getting back up and planting our feet firmly on the ground as a city. This is our home and those who call it their home, know just what that pride feels like. It warms the soul like a big bowl of gumbo. New Orleans certainly is something special. Let's love one another. Live and let live. If anything came from this catastrophe, I would hope that many have learned to appreciate what they have. WHO DAT!
