This is a picture of the Crystal Preserves sign that sits on top of an apartment complex along the overpass of Airline Highway. It was damaged during Katrina, but was repaired a couple of years after the storm. I used to see it a lot when I would go from Harahan to Mid-City. Seeing it fixed was really great; every time I see it I think back to my childhood and how Katrina affected close to everything in the city, even benign things like large advertisement signs.
