Hellicane: Poets Respond to Hurricane Katrina

WE HAS A NATION IN THE LAND OF THE FREE\r\nMUST BAND TOGETHER IN THE FACE OF TRAGEDY\r\nOFFERING HOPE AND A HELPING HAND\r\nTO OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS ACROSS THIS GREAT LAND.\r\n\r\nWHETHER IT BE A GIFT TO HELP REBUILD,OR A SIMPLE PRAYER THAT WILL SURELY BE HEARD\r\nFOR THOSE WHOSE HOPES AND DREAMS ARE SHATTERED\r\nHOW EVER WE HELP WILL SURELY MATTER\r\n\r\nWHEN YOU WAKE UP WARM AND SAFE IN YOUR BED\r\nTHINK OF ALL WHO ARE LOST AND SO AFRAID\r\nPLEASE OPEN YOUR HEART TO THE MANY WHO\r\nHAVE LOST THEIR HOMES AND LOVED ONES TOO\r\n\r\nWE MUST STAND UNITED AND DEVELOP A PLAN\r\nFOR THERE\'S STRENGTH IN NUMBERS AS WE JOIN HANDS\r\nTHERE IS NO POWER GREATER IN GOD\'S PLAN\r\nTHAN THE LOVE WE SHOW TO OUR FELLOW MAN\r\n\r\nTAKE TIME EACH DAY AND SAY A LITTLE PRAYER\r\nASKING GOD TO COMFORT ALL THOSE IN DESPAIR
