Filmmaker Helen Hill took this photograph of Mrs. Rose Broussard\'s bedroom on March 2, 2006--the first time the Broussard family entered their flooded home.The moldy boxes contain Miss Rose\'s collection of butterfly jewelry. Over the years her loved ones had given her many butterfly items as gifts. Almost all of them were destroyed when the levees broke after Hurricane Katrina. The Broussard family temporarily relocated to Shreveport; their Lakeview home was eventually bulldozed.
