Gustav and Lessons learned from Katrina

My hurricane experience for Katrina was full of arguing, fighting, and bickering between all of my family members and it turned out to be hell. During Gustav, I learned my lesson and went where my family wasn\'t going. I ended up in Folsom, LA. Me and about 4 friends. We had 3 generators and a fully stocked fridge and it was surprisingly under the circumstance very fulfilling, I know I will not go anywhere without a generator during a storm again. They make a huge difference. I feel Katrina was a learning experience and taught me how to be patient but take care of yourself and make sure others are taken care of also.
