Dina.kitchen.postKatrina.jpeg

This picture was taken in October once people were allowed back in to New Orleans to see the damage of Katrina. The house belonged to my friend Dina and was located in the West End area. The water had reached all the way up to the ceiling and she lost everything. What she is most proud of is that even after the loss and devastation, the two towels in the kitchen stayed exactly how she liked them, folded evenly over her stove handle.
