This is an artwork I created for my social studies class at the Girls Athletic Leadership School in Denver, Colorado.
I printed hundreds of front page stories about Hurricane Katrina from the Newseum in order to get all the clippings I needed for the collage.

It is 3'x4' in size. It's to be used as the backdrop during "Night at New Orleans," which is the night all my classmates will be presenting their Hurricane Katrina projects. We have learned about federal, state, and local government interactions.
