Hello my friend\r\nI can see by the look in your eyes you\'re tired\r\nTired of trying\r\nTired of this world\r\n\r\nThe pain and suffering is too deep\r\nTied up to my knees to my head in worries\r\nFull of trouble I…

Something In You

Parade of instruments going by\r\nSuch melancholy as I\'ve e\'er heard\r\nNot a word, just slowed gestures\r\nAnd slurred music, sadness bestirred\r\n\r\nI think I\'ll stand nigh and cry a tear\r\nAnd watch the mourners…

Her Name is Katrina

Oh Katrina...\r\nA storm which we feared\r\nYou came to us and conquered\r\nYour fury was magnificent\r\nBut your scorn left us deficient\r\n\r\nOh Katrina...\r\nYou filled the bowl up\r\nLeft us no grub to…

Oh KATRINA!

(I am a mother and wife, and my heart goes out to all the people affected by hurricane Katrina. I wish to dedicate these poems especially for them, hoping that the words may give some comfort to those in…

Special Little Ones

Signs of the hurt and pain\r\nIn the eyes of the beloved people left alive\r\n\r\nTears that flow, like rushing rivers\r\nCries that are heard, like wolfs howling\r\n\r\nSo much is lost\r\nThe loss of loved ones, life…

The People Left…

Dear Lord in Heaven\r\nBe with all the victims of the hurricane\r\nTheir lives have been destroyed\r\nAnd they are in so much pain\r\nThey don\'t have\r\nA place to call home\r\nThey have been separated from their loved…

Lives Have Been…

William Rehnquist passed away peacefully\r\nSurrounded by his children at home\r\nAs neglected seniors died in wheelchairs\r\nIn the hell of New Orleans\' Superdome\r\n\r\nAs this time of horrific upheaval\r\nSweeps all…

Welcome To John…
